If you are from north INDIA region, you might know how Sikh religion started.
What is need of Sikh religion, why was it being founded?
So let’s discuss some points which makes Hindu and Sikh as two sons of same father.
If you go to Punjab in older times before INDIA’s freedom and after that time also.
You will notice that families who are living in Punjab, makes one of their older child as Sikh(with turban) and other as non-sikhs(without turban).
So that one elder child can serve Indian army or protect nation and other sons will take care of farming and other jobs.
Now you will ask why this concept of making one elder child as Sikh, other sons as Hindu started.
If you look into Indian history in deep, you will see Mughal rulers and foreign invaders have done the lot of crimes on Hindu religion peoples.
To fight against Mughal at that time, even to fight against foreign invaders, Sikh religion is established.
Or we can say directly to save Hindu to forceful conversion to Islam, to save Hindus property, their money, their lives Sikh religion is formed.

So to point, Now from where this Sikh people in INDIA comes answer is simple from Hindu families.
So to carry forward this concept, Hindu families in north region started to keep elder child as Sikh and other as non Sikh started.
To send one in Indian army and other in farming and other jobs.
So that’s why many people in both religions shares some kind of blood relation, some are cousins, some are brothers etc.
But when you see current INDIA, where most Sikhs and Hindus will not be aware of these facts.
They are fighting like two strangers, which makes me laugh.
Now who created gaps between them, answer is simple first Britishers, then politicians……
