Kanatal is a hilly town situated near New Tehri, Uttarakhand.
I, with a group of my friends, visited Kanatal in July 2021.
Even though it is a small town, its surroundings are calm and you can enjoy two or three days.
Now here comes what you can do there. You can visit Tehri Dam, where you can do boating and do many other water activities.

In contrast to this, you can look for different waterfalls or views where you can enjoy your time.
One such waterfall we discovered near our hotel, though it is in one of the villages.
But its view is excellent.

Apart from that, you will not find major food brands in Kanatal. You can just enjoy the views and the calmness of the place.
Because very few people visit this place.
You can visit New Tehri city, which is not far from there.
And yes, you can also enjoy or visit a jungle safari in Kanatal.
